Distinction

Colossians 3:9-11

9 Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices,

You are now the new creation in Christ so you must have laid aside the old man correct? It says ‘since you laid aside…’ Did you? If you have not, then you cannot go on to verse 10. Go back and lay the old man aside.

10 and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him—

When you put on the new man notice he’s being renewed to a true knowledge. That true knowledge does not come from man, does not come from doctrine, does not come from the wisdom of the world. It’s according to the Image! who’s image? Notice it’s not your parent’s DNA or their image. It’s the image according to the ONE who created you!

11 a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.

This renewal has no dissimilarity. The renewal is Christ in all. Do you look like Christ today?

There should be no distinction between Christ and you, go look again and again, until there isn’t.
